BRONTË NAYLOR

RUINS_001

Spatial_Installation
2023 solo show, The Creator Incubator, Newcastle

images by Edwinda Richards

RUINS_001 explores the “reverse ruin” of the Australian urban landscape through Naylor’s expanded painting practice. This exhibition combines painting, video, light and sculpture to present a collapsing of time within the space.

Naylor's
spatial experiment champions the process of making, and the experience of public space in her lived experience. This body of work presents the artist’s commitment to the ambiguous and emotional.
